The Difference Between Women and Men...And Doctors and Lawyers

Typical weekend morning:

Me:  I kept dreaming about sodium transport in the nephron, and then I had these weird anxiety dreams about being at home, and having to go back to college.  I kept waking myself up and reminding myself that I'm a grown-up now and that I'm already at "home," but I couldn't sleep properly.

The Lawyer:  I had happy sex dreams.

I'm a lawyer and I wish that I had happy sex dreams. I usually dream about missuing important hearings in homicide cases or getting sued for legal malpractice or having to defend myself against the professional conduct committee.

Sorry but the lawyer's response was funny. Not funny but funny. I guess men are men regardless of their titles and jobs. I guess I can wait a little bit longer for a boyfriend at this point.

Mominsanity- I think it DEFINITELY has to do more with the male/female differences! I wish that we could just turn off our brains and sleep already!

XOXO- I know he wasn't trying to be intentionally funny, but I thought he was hilarious. Basically, he had a polar opposite dream night to me. And yes, you can wait a bit longer, but it will be entertaining when you do have a boyfriend! :)

The real difference between men and women is that men think the Three Stooges are funny. And I have dreamed of kidney function, as well, but then I have to get up and go.

Jono- Ha! I love it! I bet The Lawyer dreams about legal things too...he's just not as spazzy as I am, so he doesn't wake up and whine about it (LIKE I DO). :)

Who doesn't love a happy sex dream? Maybe I'm more like a guy.

Nope.

I'm not. I never remember my dreams. Explain that one to me, Miss Doctor!?!

IA- Lol...my response to your comment has been emailed, because it's on the risque side. :)

Penelope Rock- You know it! The way that he described his dream was so nonchalant too! Like, "Oh really? You worry at night? Not me!"
